Friedell District-Wide

Middle school

Our RAP program is an after school activity for students who need extra support in math, reading, and the social and emotional realm of middle school. It starts from 2:30-4:30 Tues-Thursday. We also partner with Augsburg future teachers to expose the students to a Community Service project.

We focus on STEM education. Materials are provided by the STEM Village in conjunction with Winona State University to have the kids work and play with gadgets and gizmos and sneak in reading and math concepts.

Students are fed juice and some sort of grain snacks. There is also transportation. It all depends on where you live. Many of our students take the late bus home.

We have Mr. Durgin and myself teach the lessons.
Attached is our RAP calendar.
